Whenever the first phone call a client makes, his intention is known from the tone, language, intent and the manner in which the person starts the conversation. The stammer and the interruptions in his speech make it obvious that the client is looking for something undercover. So, I must make it clear and transparent beforehand. And for an experienced massage therapist like me, it is not at all difficult to read the mind of one such ‘fishy’ client or customer.
Such instances occur regularly, in fact on a daily basis with me. A couple of days ago, a client from Seattle, WA called me up. He was traveling to Manila for a holiday during Christmas. Simply by looking at my sassy profile pics, he thought that I offered sensual and pleasure massage services. He started the conversation with queries regarding B2B massage slides. And my answer was crisp and clear. “No, I do not offer pleasure services'. Upon hearing this, there was silence on the other end. Though he tried to probe a little deeper, I drew the line. There would be such instances as a female masseuse, but you need to act professionally and tactfully over the phone. Your statements should be assertive, and there should be no dilemma in the minds of customers about the type of services on offer. This would make your job easy.
